What I love about newborn sessions, EVERYTHING! . With newborn photos we are also celebrating their family and their parents and how much has changed. Which is why I think it’s so important to get family portraits taken with the new baby. Some parents opt to only have portraits taken of their baby. But for those who are looking for a full session with family and parent pictures included, I encourage it!

Whether your new arrival is your first baby or joining the family. I always start a newborn photos session with parents and siblings. That helps everyone involved feel comfortable in the studio. Once those photos are taken, siblings can leave with a parent or grandparent to one of our local parks or visit the local donut shop. This gives me time to take all those beautiful simple poses of baby.
